Replacing bulbs headlights



Halogen lamps head block headlights are filled with pressurized gas and may explode if scratching or impact. Wear safety goggles and avoid contact with the lamps as gently as possible, keeping them only for the base. Try not to touch the surface of the bulb with bare fingers, as getting fat from the skin of the hands leads to overheating of the lamp when working, and its premature failure. Accidentally touching the flask immediately wipe the surface with alcohol.


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Open the hood.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector at the rear of the assembly of the headlight. Where necessary to provide access to the socket, remove the body assembly (Section Removal and installation of towers head block headlights).
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector head lamp headlights.
  1. Turn the lock ring counterclockwise and remove the bulb from the headlight housing
  1. Turn the lock ring counterclockwise and remove the headlight assembly from the housing block headlights.
  1. Insert the bulb into the housing and secure it with a retaining ring and connect the electrical connector.
