Removal and installation of the air conditioning system compressor



See. The warning at the beginning of Section Removing and installing battery (accumulator) air conditioning system.


The battery must be replaced (see section Removing and installing battery (accumulator) air conditioning system) every time you replace the compressor.


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Make discharging the air conditioning system (see Fig. A warning at the beginning of Section Removing and installing battery (accumulator) air conditioning system).
  2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector of the compressor clutch.
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector (arrow) on the compressor of the air conditioner - the one with a single wire.
  1. Remove the drive belt (Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance).
  2. Disconnect the refrigerator from the top line of the rear of the compressor. Plug the open ends of the nozzles to avoid hit in dirt and moisture.
  1. Refrigerated line attached to the compressor by means of bolts - they should be disconnected by using a wrench; after disconnecting plug the holes in the compressor and the open ends of the lines.
  1. Otboltite compressor from bracket and remove it from the vehicle.
  2. If the compressor will be replaced following the manufacturer's instructions pre-drain excess oil.

A new compressor must be fit for use in systems filled with refrigerant such as R-134.

  1. The clutch can be transferred from the old to the new compressor.
  2. Install in reverse order. Replace all seals with new (fit for use in systems, such as oil-filled R-134); lubricate the ring before installation refrigerant oil.
  3. In the same workshop, where the discharged system make its evacuation, charging and checking for leaks
