Removing and installing battery (accumulator) air conditioning system

The air conditioning system is constantly under pressure. Do not loosen the couplings of lines or disconnect any of the components of the system prior to its discharge. Coolant must be pumped out of the system in a special compensatory and regenerative EPA-unit station dealer branch or an authorized service center. When disconnecting the lines of the system, always wear safety goggles!

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Make discharging the air conditioning system (see. The warning above).
  2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector on the gauge-switch of pressure switch at the top of the battery, which is located on the passenger side of the car, near the wheel arch.
  1. Disconnect the gauge-switch of pressure switching clutch battery.
  1. Disconnect the suction line of the compressor, pre otboltiv it.

Do not disconnect the battery from the refrigeration lines - they should be replaced with the battery.

  1. Zakuporte open nozzles to prevent the ingress of moisture in and dirt.
  2. With a special tool (see. Section Removal and installation of the heat exchanger heater) disconnect the battery, where it passes through the bulkhead engine compartment to the evaporator. Loosen the pinch bolt mounting bracket and remove the battery pack with the lines connected to it.
  3. If the battery is replaced, remove the old with the Schrader valve (under the sensor, pressure switch) and pour the oil into a measuring container, noting the amount. Top up with the same amount of oil (consistent with the type R-134), plus a one ounce (28.35 grams) in a new battery.
  4. Install in reverse order.

When assembling the spring-loaded into every joint must be installed on the sealing ring, suitable for use in systems filled with oil, type R-134a.

  1. Drive away the car in the same studio, which produces the discharge air conditioning system. Make it here emptying, charging and checking for leaks.
