Removal and installation of the unit heater fan

These models of cars equipped with airbags. Pillow is always ready and can work (inflated) at any time with a connected battery. To prevent accidental operation of the system (and to obtain as a result of injury) every time you work with the components of airbags (including the impact sensors, which can be located near the front grille / bumper) Disconnect the battery negative lead. After disconnecting the battery before you start work, wait at least 2 minutes (capacitor system is equipped with a delay, which must be fully discharged). See. PERFORMANCE ORDER

Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
Disconnect the electric fan connector (Section Check of an electric circuit and replacement of components of the motor of the fan heater and air conditioner).
Give fixing screws and remove the motor.

Motor heater fan is located under the dashboard near the glove compartment - disunite an electric socket, and give three motor mounting screws (arrows).

Release the clamp securing the impeller to the motor shaft.

If the motor is to be replaced, release the clamp fastening of the impeller, remove the latter and insert it on the shaft of the new motor.

Remove the impeller from the shaft of the old motor and drag it to a new motor, fixing the mounting clip.
Set the heater, make sure that the gasket has appeared in its place and tighten the mounting screws securely tightened them.
Connect the electrical connector and wire to the battery. Check the operation of the motor.
