Removing and installing engine



Removal steps mounted units from the engine and engine compartment

1 - lower guard of the engine;
2 - an intake air passage;
3 - the air filter;
4 - battery and battery support;
5 - an accelerator cable;
6 - wire throttle control (A / T);
7 - radiator hose;
8 - a hose of a broad tank of a cooling liquid;
9 - slot cooling fan;
10 - liquid pipe ATF (A / T);
11 - an arm of the radiator;
12 - a radiator;
13 - a belt of the power steering and air conditioning compressor;
14 - the oil pump and the power steering oil pump bracket;
15 - air conditioning compressor.

Location of electrical connectors in the engine compartment

1-sensors oxygen;
2 - the ignition distributor;
3 - starter;
4 - oil pressure sensor;
5 - generator;
6, 11, 14 - wire connection with "weight";
7 - injector;
8 - sensor heating;
9 - Sensor idling;
10 - drive;
12 - purge valve;
13 - the coolant temperature sensor;
15 - speed sensor;
16 - deceleration sensor.

Location hoses

1 - heater hoses;
2 - a vacuum hose of the vacuum brake booster;
3 - a hose purge valve;
4 - fuel hoses.

Engine mounts, drive shafts, suspension tie rod

1 - clutch slave cylinder;
2 - traction control transmission (M / T);
3 - extension rod (M / T);
4 - wire throttle control (A / T);
5 - cross;
6 - engine mount;
7 - tie rod end;
8 - control rod stabilizer;
9 - a reception exhaust pipe;
10 - drive shaft.

Engine Supports

1 - number 1 engine mount;
2 - support the engine number 2;
3 - number 3 engine mount;
4 - prop engine number 4.


A warning

Remove the fuel pressure


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Drain the coolant from the engine oil from the engine and gearbox with final drive.
3. Consistently disconnect and remove:

- Lower guard of the engine;
- The air inlet port;
- air filter;
- The battery and the battery support;
- The accelerator cable;
- Wire throttle control (A / T);
- Radiator hose;
- A hose of a broad tank of a cooling liquid;
- Slot cooling fan;
- Tube fluid ATF (A / T);
- An arm of the radiator;
- radiator;
- Strap the power steering and air conditioning compressor;
- The oil pump and the power steering oil pump bracket;
- air conditioning compressor.
4. Disconnect electrical wiring and connectors:

- The oxygen sensor;
- The ignition distributor;
- Starter;
- Oil pressure sensor;
- Generator;
- Wire connection with "weight";
- Injector;
- Sensor heating;
- Sensor idling;
- Drive;
- Purge valve;
- Coolant temperature sensor;
- Speed sensor;
- Deceleration sensor.
5. Disconnect the following hoses:

- Heater hoses;
- A vacuum hose from the vacuum brake booster;
- Hose purge valve; - Fuel hoses.
6. Remove the tie rods:

- Remove the cotter pin and loosen the nut trunnion ball joint;
- With the help of a stripper remove the tie rod end from the knuckle.

A warning

When you install a new cotter pin assembly.


7. Consistently disconnect and remove:

- The clutch slave cylinder;
- Traction control transmission (M / T);
- Extension rod (M / T);
- Wire throttle control (A / T);
- Cross-beam;
- Support of the engine;
- tie rod end;
- Control rod stabilizer;
- A reception exhaust pipe;
- drive shaft.
8. Before removing the engine mounts support the engine with a special tool.
9. Remove the engine mount.

10. Raise engine with gearbox and drive axle as a unit and remove it from the engine compartment.


A warning

Be careful not to damage the other components located close to the engine.



Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
2. After installation, fill the oil in the main gearbox transmission and engine coolant.
3. Start up the engine and check the idling ignition timing as well as the absence of leaks of oil and coolant.
4. After the road test, recheck the oil level and coolant.
