| 1. Remove the high pressure pipe using an adapter, connect the gauge of the power steering. Tightening Torque Adapter: 39,24-58,86 N ??? m. |
2. Insert a thermometer in the tank for the power steering fluid. |
3. Bleed the system as follows.
1) Check the fluid level in the power steering reservoir and, if necessary, add a liquid. 2) Lift the car and fix it on support. 3) Turn the steering wheel fully to the left and to the right until it stops at 10 times. 4) Again, check the fluid level in the tank and add, if it has gone down. 5) Repeat steps 3) and 4) until the liquid level is stabilized. 6) Start up the engine and let it run at idle. 7) Turn the steering wheel fully to the left and to the right until it stops at 10 times. 8) Check if the air bubbles in the fluid power steering. If there are bubbles, the system has the air. In this case, repeat steps 2) to 7). |
A warning If the number continues to grow bubbles, it checks if the air does not penetrate into the system.
|
4. Measure the temperature of the liquid. If the temperature is less than 50-60 ? C, repeatedly turn the steering wheel to the left and right until the liquid temperature reaches the desired value. |
A warning For readout operating pressure for some time, close the valve pressure gauge the power steering system. Do not close the valve for more than 15 seconds.
|
| 5. Close the valve pressure gauge the power steering system and measure the pressure generated by the power steering pump, increasing the speed of the crankshaft of the engine to 1000-1500 min-1. The pressure should be within 8240,4-8829,0 kPa. |
| 6. Open the valve pressure gauge the power steering system and increase the speed of the crankshaft of the engine to 1000-1500 min-1. |
A warning Continuously turn a steering wheel during no more than 15 seconds.
|
7. Several times turn the steering wheel left and right, then measure the pressure. |
8. Remove the pressure gauge and the adapter from the power steering system. Reconnect the high pressure pipe and tighten the moment 15,7-23,5 N ??? m. |
9. Remove the thermometer and remove air from the system, as described in paragraph 3. |
