Rear axle



Elements of the rear axle

1 - support;
2 - Rubber spring seat;
3 - beam rear suspension;
4 - coil spring;
5 - shock;
6 - draft compensation lateral movement of the rear axle;
7 - an arm front mounting rear axle.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Raise the rear of the car and fix on support.
2. Remove the wheel.
3. Establish a jack under the rear axle and slightly lift the beam.
4. Remove the shock absorber lower mounting.
5. Lower the jack and remove the coil spring.
6. Remove the union nut and remove the rear brake hose from the tube, and then release it from the bracket.

A warning

To eliminate dirt and prevent leakage of brake fluid, close the brake hose and tube suitable stoppers.


7. Remove the clamp fastening of a brake hose.
8. Disconnect the flexible brake hose on the rear axle.
9. Disconnect the parking brake cable from the rear axle.

10. Remove the four screws on each side and remove the rear axle axle brakes.

11. Remove the bolt thrust compensation lateral movement of the rear axle to the beam.
12. Loosen the nuts and remove the bolts of the front parts of the trailing arm rear axle to the brackets. Remove the bolts attaching the brackets to the body.
13. Remove the nut and remove the bolt thrust compensation lateral movement of the rear axle to the bracket.
14. Remove the bolt thrust compensation lateral movement of the rear axle to the beam and remove draft.

A warning

Be careful not to damage the parking brake cable.


15. Remove the rear axle.
16. Remove the upper shock absorber bolt.
17. Remove the top support of the coil spring.
18. Special adaptation OK670 990 aa0 squeeze bushings front trailing arm rear axle.

Check

Check the rear suspension parts for damage or deformation and, if necessary, replace them.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Place the front of the sleeve holes in front of the trailing arm rear axle and special adaptation OK670 990 aa0 press in it.

A warning

The label on the sleeve must be pointing toward the front of the vehicle. To facilitate the installation of the plug preliminary grease it with soapy water or lubricant.


2. Establish a support top of the coil spring.

Torque: 36-54 N ??? m

3. Screw a bolt of the top fastening of the shock absorber.

Torque: 46-57 N ??? m

4. Place the front part of the trailing arm rear axle in the bracket and secure the bolts and nuts, but do not tighten them completely.
5. Install the brackets on the body and fix their bolts.
6. Install thrust compensation lateral movement of the rear axle to the body and secure it.

Torque: 78-98 N ??? m

7. Install the thrust compensation lateral movement of the rear axle to the beam and secure it.

Torque: 78-98 N ??? m

8. Tighten bolts and nuts of the front parts of the trailing arm rear axle to the brackets demanded moment.

Torque: 54-68 N ??? m

9. Tighten the bracket to the body.

Torque: 98-118 N ??? m

10. Install axle brakes and secure.

Torque: 43-61 N ??? m

11. Establish an arm of the parking brake cable and secure it on the beam.

Torque: 19-26 N ??? m

12. Install the flexible brake hose to the beam.
13. Secure the flexible brake hose clamp.

14. Connect the brake hose and brake pipe.

Torque: 13-23 N ??? m

15. Slightly lower the rear beam and install coil springs.

16. A jack raise a back beam and screw the shock absorber lower mounting.

Torque: 78-98 N ??? m
