Removing and installing exhaust manifold
Between the flanges of the cylinder head and the exhaust manifold gasket is installed, made of extruded heat-resistant material and reinforced with steel. To replace the exhaust manifold, you will need: face head "14" extender knob. 1. Place the vehicle on a pit or hoist. |
| | 4. Remove the bolt ... | 5. ... and move toward the bracket. |
| | 6. Loosen seven nuts the exhaust manifold to the cylinder block. | 7. Remove the exhaust manifold with its mounting studs. |
| 8. Remove the pins from the cylinder head exhaust manifold gasket. |
HELPFUL ADVICE Exhaust manifold gasket at each dismantling of the compound replaced. |
9. Install exhaust manifold and gasket in the reverse order of removal. |
