In no case do not put the jack under the car thresholds, oil pan, the floor panels or directly under the components of a steering drive / suspension! Do not make any repairs under the car, secured in the raised position by means of only one jack! Be sure to use a reliable backup!

Incoming standard car jack is only for the procedures change wheels. In carrying out any other repair or maintenance car should be lifted by a hydraulic (or a carriage) and the jack to be installed on special props, the institution established under the jacking point!

The wheel nuts on all cars KIA Sportage have metric threads.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Park the car on an equal horizontal platform, whenever possible with a firm covering.

Get a jack under the reference point closest to the replaced wheel and working detachable collar, lift car - damaged wheel must be completely off the ground.

Remove the wheel nuts and remove the wheel.
Check the inflation pressure of a spare wheel, if necessary, make appropriate adjustments.
Install the spare wheel and tighten the nuts by hand fixing it.

The wheel nuts are installed conical inside out. Lower the car to the ground and tighten the wheel nuts evenly in a diagonal manner with effort 88 ÷ 108 Nm.

Place the removal of the wheels and tools to their regular places.

Hanging

If the need for the removal of the wheels missing, the car can be driven on a viewing hole or overpass.

When hanging car backup / leg lift (as in jacking regular jack) should be got under the side frame rail near the wheel arrangement - jacking is done by a hydraulic jack, the carriage, the head of which is put under the front sub-frame / rear axle housing.
