Removal, check and installation of shock absorbers and coil springs
Withdrawal | - Post the car off the ground.
- Remove the rear wheels.
- Prop jack corresponding side of the rear axle.
| - Release the two upper mounting nut (1). Isofix rear shock absorber (2).
|
- Remove the washer and the rubber gasket.
- Remove the lower mounting bolt.
- Slowly lower the bridge on the jack and remove the shock absorber and coil spring.
| - Remove the rubber seat upper frame (1) of the spring and a rubber stop (2).
|

|
Check | - Check the shock absorber and coil spring for deformation, chipping, cracks and other mechanical damages.
| - Manually check the smoothness and uniformity of the shock absorber piston stroke in both directions.
|
- Rocking piston rod at least three times, make sure that there are no signs of leaks.
| - Assess the rubber component - bush lower suspension strut, spring seat and stop.

|
Setting | - Installation is in the reverse order - Ensure compliance with the Specifications Chapter Suspension and steering the efforts of a tightening of threaded fasteners.
 | The coil springs should be set decorated with polymeric coating turns down. |
