Steering

general information

Steering gear organized on a "trapeze" through hydrostrengthening transmission type "screw - ball nut" and an adjustable steering column.

Scheme of the steering gear

1 - Tie Rod End
2 - Lock nut
3 - Adjusting the insert
4 - Internal left a tip of steering draft
5 - Coupling Rod

6 - Steering Gear
7 - Mount the idler arm
8 - spindle pendulum
9 - Internal tip right tie rod
10 - Swingarm
11 - bipod steering

Forces occurring between the screw and nut steering mechanism are transferred through a number of balls circulating reducing friction. The nut acts on the shaft via the gear sector bipod. This design allows you to receive a variable gear ratio.

Increased steering actuator arranged through the use of hydraulic steering pump driven by the engine via a belt transmission and is connected to the steering mechanism.
