Adjustment of a pedal / clutch cable
Front-wheel drive model with a gasoline engine to 9/89 MY. Clutch must be adjusted after every repair the clutch, as well as in the framework of regular maintenance. Adjustments should also look at the challenges on and off the clutch. Adjustment | | - Measure the height from the top side of the pedal pedal to the floor mat. The desired value from 215 to 220 mm.

- To adjust the height of the pedal to remove the lower trim the dashboard to get to adjustment bolt. Adjust the height of the pedal rotation stop bolt, after loosening the lock nut (lock nut). On models with electronic fuel injection instead of the stop bolt mounted clutch switch. In this case, disconnect the plug and adjust the height of the rotation of the pedal switch.
- Measure the free travel. To this slightly depress the pedal arm, yet will not be felt considerable resistance. Desired value: from 9 to 15 mm.
| - If the free travel does not meet the required limits, open the hood and adjust the free stroke adjustment nut on a threaded element -B- clutch cable. The required clearance -A value from 1, 5 to 3, 0 mm (the clearance between the gear lever and finger cable ).

- After adjustment, fully depress the clutch pedal and measure the height between the plate off the pedals and floor mats. Required value: at least 85 mm. Otherwise, repeat the adjustment.
