Removal and installation / check of clutch release bearing
Withdrawal | - Remove the gearbox.
| - Cars up to 9/89 MY. and wagon models: Pull the lever return spring clutch on the gearbox casing and remove release bearing with the clutch fork.

| - Cars since 10/89 vol., Except wagon models: Remove the release bearing with the clutch fork and then remove the bearing. On all-wheel drive models with 1/90 MY. take into account the mounting position of the intermediate plate. See

Check | | - Squeeze the release bearing and simultaneously turn. On vehicles with a 9/89 MY. Bearing stretch and rotate simultaneously. If the bearing rotates with difficulty, to install a new bearing.

 | The bearing has a long-term lubrication and should neither be cleaned nor greased. |
