1. Clean the upper bearing rod and attach it to the crank. Lubricating holes and insert a rod should be combined. |
2. Clean the second loose leaf and establish it in a rod cover. |
3. Place the piston ring end gaps as shown. |
4. Grease pistons and rings and compress piston rings using a piston ring compressor. |
5. Turn the crankshaft so that the connecting rod bearing of the first cylinder was in the position of the lower dead point, and grease cylinder walls. |
6. Check that the mark on top of the piston has been turned forward. |
| 7. Push the plunger and install it into the cylinder. |
8. For measurement of a lubricant backlash it is possible to take advantage of an internal micrometer or other special device, but the most exact and easy method it - to use a special plastic measuring instrument. |
| 9. After installing the piston into the cylinder, tighten bolts of covers of rods, and check the lubricating rod bearing clearance. Put the pieces of plastic on each of the bearings of rods parallel to the axis of the crankshaft. |
| 10. Compare width of the crushed film to a special scale. |
11. If the clearance is not correct, probably installed the wrong size inserts. |
