A partition and check of a head of cylinders



Bulkhead
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the camshafts and valve controls.
2. Use the special tool compress the valve spring.
3. Remove the cone sleeve valve.
4. Remove the plate, spring and spring seat.
5. Remove the valve through the combustion chamber.
6. After removal, fold each flap and its elements in separate labeled bags.

Cleaning
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully clean off the traces of the old head gaskets with a scraper or special solvent.
2. Remove any deposits from the openings of the head.
3. Clean dirt and remnants of sealant from the threaded holes.
4. Clean the head solvent and dry it.
5. Clean and dry the solvent controls valves, valve springs, tapered bushings, plates and seat springs.
6. Clean the valves.

Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the cylinder head for cracks and damage, if necessary, the head need to be processed on a special machine or replace.
2. Using a ruler and a feeler gauge, check to see if the surface on which the head gasket is installed (shows a typical cylinder head).
3. Check the valve seats, if they are there is any damage, contact a specialist.
4. Measure the gap between the guide sleeve and valve stems. The gap should be approximately 1.6 mm. If necessary, the sleeve must be replaced.
