Setting the ignition timing by a stroboscope



PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Loosen the case of the distributor of ignition.
  2. Connect the strobe in accordance with the instruction manual.
  3. If a distributor has a vacuum regulator of an advancing of ignition, then disconnect the vacuum hose.
  4. Start the engine and bring the number of revolutions to the value for setting the ignition timing (see. Adjusting data in the "Design and specifications - Ignition System").
  5. Rotate the ignition distributor so that the mark on the flywheel of the engine was located in the center of the hatch the clutch housing.
  6. In this position, tighten the bolt of the distributor housing to the bracket and check the curve of a centrifugal regulator ignition timing (see. Adjusting data in the "Design and specifications - Ignition System").
