The fuel injection system K-Jetronic
A fuel injection system "K-Jetronic" is a mechanical system for continuous injection of fuel. The injectors are constantly sprayed the fuel into the intake manifold to the intake valves. Therefore, a change in fuel consumption is achieved not by changing the duration of opening of the nozzles, and controlling the amount of fuel supplied to the injectors. The amount of air supplied is continuously measured air flow meter and the fuel injection amount is strictly proportional to the amount of air (except for certain modes of engine operation, such as cold start engine operation under full load, etc.) and is regulated by fuel distributor-dispenser.
