Removing and installing steering wheel



Steering wheel

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the negative (-) cable of the battery when the ignition is off. You must first remove the air filter box of the passenger compartment.

Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio security code, if any, address to Section Replacement of the battery.

2. Remove the air bag in the steering wheel, refer to the appropriate section.
3. Place the steering wheel horizontally. The front wheels have to stand up straight. Lock the steering lock into position.

4. Disconnect the connectors and disconnect the alarm control units from the contacts (2) and move towards the wire.

5. Remove the screw that secures the steering wheel (1).

6. Remove the steering wheel (3) of the steering column (4), the skip electrical wires (5) through the holes.

Contact spiral is not removed.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make sure that the front wheels were straight.
2. Place the steering wheel on the splines of the steering spindle in a way that matched the label. In this miss electric wires through the holes.
3. Dock connectors audio signal and control units and route the cables as they were before removal.
4. Screw the new Self-bolt and tighten its moment of 80-nm.
5. Install the air bag in the steering wheel, refer to the appropriate section.
6. Unlock the steering wheel lock.
7. Attach a weight cable (-) battery when the ignition is switched off. Replace the cabin air filter box. If necessary, enter the code for the radio and set the time on the clock.
Pass on the car and check that:
8. Return the direction indicators: If the steering wheel is displaced by more than one tooth, a reliable return, the turn signal is not provided.
9. The control lamp ?�Airbag?�: Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and to the left. This warning lamp ?�Airbag?� shall not light.
10. The position of the steering wheel when driving straight: If the steering wheel is crooked, but when you install the tags have been set correctly, the wheel can be rotated by more than one tooth. A more significant deviations check the toe-wheel and adjust it.
