Removal and installation of the fuel pump prior



Models 463.323 (M612)

Details of the pre-installation of the fuel pump (M612)

1 - Vacuum line
2 - Vacuum pump
3 - Line Fuel

4 - the fuel return line
13 - Preliminary fuel pump

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the trim panel of the cylinder head cover.
  2. Remove the vacuum pump (2).
  3. Disconnect from the preliminary pump (13) supply line (3) and return (4) fuel.
  4. Turn out fixing bolts and remove the pump assembly (13), - ready to collect spilled fuel.

Do not open the pump assembly!

  1. Installation is in the reverse order - before installing the pump should be pre-fill with fuel. Ensure compliance with the purity of the mating surfaces of installed components, be sure to replace the gaskets.
  2. Finally, start the engine and check the corresponding components of the power system for signs of leaks.

Models 463.333 (M628)

Details of the pre-installation of the fuel pump (M628)

1 - Preliminary fuel pump
2 - Bolts

4 - Activator throttle actuator to the upper airways

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the air cleaner and the throttle actuator to the upper airways (see. Section Service Component inlet air path).
  2. Remove the mounting bolts (2) and remove the pre-assembly of the fuel pump (1), - ready to collect spilled fuel.
  3. Installation is in the reverse order - before installing the pump should be pre-fill with fuel. Ensure compliance with the purity of the mating surfaces of installed components, be sure to replace the gaskets.
  4. Finally, start the engine and check the corresponding components of the power system for signs of leaks.
