Removing and installing fuel injection control module

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  1. Turn on the auxiliary battery and connect it to a standard battery, then disconnect the negative cable last and insulate the pole terminal. If the battery is removed from the vehicle, disconnect from it as a positive wire.

    7 - Auxiliary battery
    8 - terminal positive wire module
    9 - negative terminal wire module
    W10 - Ground Battery
  1. Remove the carpet on the right front footswitch well.
  2. Do not disconnect the power cable, remove the front module of perception and activation signal (SAM) (see chap. Onboard electric equipment).
  3. Give a nut (1).
  4. Pre removing the screws (2), remove the bracket (5).
  5. Give nuts (3) and disunite the connectors (5, 6, 7, 8 and 9), - do not forget to release the clips where they are provided.
  6. By filing down the back and remove the dashboard control unit CDI (N3 / 9).
  7. Remove the bolts (11) and separate the module from the support bracket (4).
  8. Installation is in the reverse order - with the appropriate configuration (code ET2) deactivate service mode of TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  9. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-test (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).

SAM module is removed complete with mounting fuse / relay box.

  1. Give a nut (1).
  2. Remove the screws (2).
  3. Give nuts (3).
  4. Disconnect the connectors (5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10), - do not forget to release the clips where they are provided.
  5. By filing down the back and remove the dashboard control unit CDI (N39 / 2).
  6. Remove the bolts (11) and separate the module from the support bracket (4).
  7. Installation is in the reverse order - with the appropriate configuration (code ET2) deactivate service mode of TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  8. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-test (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
