Bleeding the hydraulic system

The need for pumping hydraulic path arises only in the case when the disconnection was performed hydraulic lines or draining the brake fluid in the system is air.

Change hydraulic fluid brake system must be carried out on a regular basis in accordance with the schedule of routine maintenance of the car. Procedures for changing the brake fluid and bleeding the hydraulic system very close in the order of execution in view of the marked points in the text.

A hydraulic path of brake system is equipped with several valves pumping. Thus, the valves are available on the brake calipers and wheel cylinders. Furthermore, some models equipped with an additional leveling valve mounted on the valve - the pressure regulator.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Fill the tank at the GTZ with clean brake fluid and keep it at least half-full during the entire procedure of pumping.

If you want to make a change of brake fluid, drain it from the tank, clean the inner walls of a clean lint-free cloth last, and fill with fresh fluid.

  1. Connect the transparent hose to the length of the left rear leveling valve (on the wheel cylinder) to the valve or valve - pressure regulator (if equipped). The opposite end into a partially filled with clean brake fluid transparent container.
  2. Several times Depress the brake pedal and secure it in the down position and remove the valve. Tighten the valve and slowly release the pedal. Repeat procedure up until the hose comes out free of air bubbles in the liquid.

If it changes the liquid to continue pumping until the hose begins to flow fresh clean liquid.

To avoid re-entering the system does not allow the air in the process of lowering pumping the brake fluid in the reservoir GTZ below half the level periodically refilled. The liquid drained from the system is not subject to re-use, - to use only fresh topping.

  1. Repeat for the remaining valves pumping.
  2. After completion of pumping the brake pedal should be squeezed out with a solid resistance without any sign of softness stroke. Check the tightness of all valves pumping.
  3. Fill in the required amount of tank GTZ fresh brake fluid, bringing its level back to normal.
