| 1. Before removing the fuel tank drain as much gasoline. It is advisable to empty the tank of the trip, as the drain plug is not provided. |
| 2. Disconnect the battery from weight. |
| 3. Lift the rear of the car and establish on supports. |
| 4. Disconnect from the body filler neck. |
| 5. Disconnect the fuel hoses. |
| 6. Place a container under the support (preferably a cart with a jack). |
| 7. Remove the bolts of the front heat shield (if fitted). |
| 8. Disconnect from the fuel gauge. |
| 9. Remove the bolts from the tank. |
| 10. Slowly lower the tank, disconnecting the ventilation tube as access. |
| 11. Remove the tank, mark and remove the rubber pads. |
| 12. Rinse the tank and inspect. |
| 13. Buck-piece, made of plastic, so if damaged it must be replaced. |
