The thermostat air flow
The thermostat is designed to supply the heated air into the engine. Overlapping channel cool air to the engine is cold damper is provided, connected to a vacuum diaphragm.
As the heating of the engine vacuum port diaphragm gradually overlaps termobimetallicheskim vacuum valve flap partially ajar and the engine starts to be fed cold air.
Check PERFORMANCE ORDER | 1. To check the engine is cold, disconnect the air line from the filter - valve must fully close the passage of hot air. | 2. After starting the engine valve must immediately close the channel cold air and then slowly opened. | 3. To check the vacuum valve termobimetallicheskogo disconnect and plug the vacuum tube. On the cold engine should be felt strong negative pressure on the heated vacuum should be absent. | 4. To check the thermostat to remove it and remove the vacuum tube. When absorbed through the choke valve should close the channel cold air. | 5. Faulty vacuum valve and replace the thermostat. |
