Automatic transmission - removal and installation



Attention!
The car should be raised high enough to get transmission.

All repairs are performed in the service station transmissions.
1. Read the service station fault codes stored in memory processing unit, and set the cause of the failure of the transmission.
2. To remove the transmission without dismantling the engine, proceed as follows.
3. Disconnect the battery from weight.
4. Drain the transmission fluid.
5. Lift the car and establish on supports.

6. Remove the PTO shaft (Ch. 8) and plug the hole in the transmission.
7. Remove the front exhaust pipe.
8. Disconnect the connector from blocking switch.
9. Disconnect from the electric coils; kick-down - mode.
10. Remove the vacuum hose from the diaphragm (located directly in front of the electric coil).
11. Disconnect draft from the selector.
12. shank transmission housing, disconnect the speedometer cable.
13. Remove the filler neck and plug the hole in the transmission.
14. shank transmission case disconnect coolant hoses.
15. Place the tray under the engine and prop stand through the bar.
16. Remove the cover and mark the relative position of the master drive and the torque converter.
17. Slowly turning the crank, turn by turn 4 the torque converter bolts.
18. Remove the starter.
19. Roll a transmission truck with stand and prop up housing.
20. Remove the bolts from the support bracket to the transmission.
21. Remove the bracket from the body.
22. Remove the bolts from the transmission to the engine.
23. Lower the two supports so that the transmission can be separated and removed at the direction of the rear of the vehicle. Filming transmission is recommended together.
Turn transmission repair or replace.

24. Check the run-out drive disc (pictured).
25. Installation is performed in reverse order. Combine the sample into the torque converter with the tab on the transmission fluid pump (photo).
26. Align the mark on the master drive and the torque converter put at dismantling.
27. After installing the converter, check the size of A (photo) to ensure correct installation of the torque converter.
28. Tighten all bolts to the specified torque.
29. Rotate the drive plate and ensure smooth rotation transmission parts.
30. Pour the liquid.
31. Check the operation of all the switches and transmission control rod. Adjust if necessary.
