Check 1. The switch performs two functions - closes the signal wires in the reverse position R, and the selector switch prevents the starter selector position other than P or N. Check and adjustment of the switch necessary if the signal lights are off or reversing starter will not turn in the position selector P or N. 2. Disconnect the wires from the switch and remove the switch. 3. Check continuity between the terminals of the sensor at each position of the selector (photo). Move the selector lever to N and make sure the circuit is closed by varying the position of the selector about 1,5 ? in both directions.
