The rear oil seal - replacement
1. Remove the axle shaft (Ch. 8). Four wheel drive, remove the transfer case (Ch. 9). 2. Gently pry the screwdriver and remove the gland (photo). 3. Coat the outside and working edges of a new oil seal and press-fit mandrel of suitable diameter (see photo). 4. Further operations are performed in reverse order.
