Stem vacuum diaphragm - adjustable



1. A vacuum diaphragm with rod ensures smooth shift selector when changing its position. Adjusting the aperture (which is necessary if the selector is not fixed in position) is ensured by the selection of the stem length.
E. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the left side of the transmission.
3. Remove the diaphragm.
4. Make sure that the throttle valve diaphragm is pressed against the seat and check the distance L (see photo).
5. Determine the length of the rod from the table.
