Proof of idling - Adjustment



1. Warm up the engine at idle.
2. When the air conditioner is off, check the idle speed, adjust if necessary (Ch. 1).
3. Turn on the air conditioner and then check the idling speed (on cars with automatic transmission selector to a position N).
Carbureted engines
4. The idle speed should be zadnepri-aqueous vehicles 800 rev / min for four-wheel drive -950 r / min. Otherwise, adjust by turning the screw on the lever of the accelerator pump (photo), idling adjustment screw does not touch it.
Injection engine
5. Set the idle speed 800- 950 rev / min rotation of the adjustment screw (see photo).
6. Repeatedly press the throttle pedal and make sure that the idle speed are normal and turned off the air conditioner.
