The fluid temperature sensor - check and replacement



Check
1. The sensor is a thermistor connected in series with a temperature gauge.
2. The sensor is screwed into the right front corner of the intake manifold.
3. If the pointer does not record the temperature, check the fuses and chain. To do this, disconnect the sensor wire and connect to weight. Turn on the ignition and turn off after a few seconds. If the arrow pointer in the sector has deviated Hot, the sensor is defective. Otherwise, a pointer or defective circuit.
4. At 60 ?� C the sensor resistance of 70-90 ohms at 100 ?� C 24 0m.
Replacement
5. Drain the cooled down engine and disconnect the wire from the sensor.
