1. To establish basic bars under the front wheels. |
2. Loosen the screws of the rear wheels. |
3. To raise and establish on support a back part of the car. |
4. Remove the rear wheels. |
5. Rinse the brakes warm water and dry. |
6. Disconnect the wire 1 (see. Fig. Removing rope hand brake) Parking brake lever 2 from. |
7. Remove the upper bolt 20 (see. Fig. Rear Disc Brake) fixing the housing 26 of the cylinder to the caliper 16, holding a wrench guide rod 21. |
8. Loosen the bottom bolt 29. |
9. Turn the cylinder body 26 around the lower bolt 29, so as to form a free access to the brake pads. |
10. To mark the brake pads 27 and 28 (if the old pad will be installed). |
11. Remove the brake pads 27 and 28. |
12. Check the thickness of the brake pads. The thickness of the friction lining is not less than 7 mm. Otherwise, replace the brake pads with pads. |
13. Rinse alcohol landing sites of brake pads. |
14. Install the brake pads 1 and 2 (see. Fig. Installing the brake pads), while keeping an eye to push the spring 3 is in the upper position and parallel to the end surface of the pad. |
15. Turn the housing 26 (see. Fig. Rear disc brake) cylinder in place. |
16. Install the old top bolt 20. |
17. Replace the bottom bolt 29 in the new one. |
A warning The gap between the brake shoe and the outer casing protrusions must be 1 mm. The gap should be checked with a feeler gauge and adjust if necessary.

18. Check a probe clearance between the outer brake pad 27 and the projections 26 of the cylinder housing. |
19. If the clearance is 1 mm, the new screw in the upper bolt 20 and tighten the two screws 20 and 29 to 35 Nm. |
20. If the backlash differs from specified, unscrew the upper bolt 20 and adjust the position of the piston 18 by turning hexagon so as to achieve the required clearance. |
21. Install the new upper bolt 20 and tighten the bolts 20 and 29 to 35 Nm. |
22. Attach the parking brake cable (see. Fig. Removing rope hand brake) on the lever 2. |
23. Adjust the parking brake (see. Subpart 10.12). |
