Brake cylinder



Disassembly of the brake cylinder rear disc brakes

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Run 1-5 subsection 10.9.1.
2. Raskontrit nut brake hose nozzle to facilitate further dismantling.
3. Remove the cap 25 (see. Fig. Rear disc brakes) from the valve 24, the air discharge.
4. Disconnect the cable 1 (see. Fig. Removing rope hand brake) Parking brake lever 2 from.
5. Remove the upper bolt 20 (see. Fig. Rear Disc Brake) fixing the housing 26 of the cylinder to the caliper 16, holding a wrench guide rod 21.
6. Remove the bottom bolt 29.
7. Clamp the brake hose, taking care not to damage it.
8. Unscrew the brake hose from the cylinder body, substituting pre capacity.
9. Plug the hole of a brake hose.
10. Release valve 24 to vent the cylinder body.
11. Remove the protective cap 17.
12. Remove the piston 18 from the cylinder with the help of the hexagon.
13. Remove the collar 19 of the cylinder.

A warning

To remove the cuffs use a wooden spatula. Use of metal objects is undesirable because it can lead to damage of the seat under the cuff.


14. Rinse alcohol piston and cylinder.
15. Inspect the working surface of the piston and cylinder.

A warning

At presence on working surfaces of the piston and cylinder for wear, nicks and jamming replace the piston and the cylinder housing in the kit.


Assembling the brake cylinder rear disc brakes

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Coat a new oil seal 19 (see. Fig. Rear disc brakes), brake fluid and set it on the seat in the cylinder.
2. Push the rear of the piston 18 (opposite groove) protective cap 17.
3. Remove the edge of the protective cover 17 to the outside.
4. Lubricate the piston 18 and the protective cap 17 with brake fluid.
5. Insert the piston 18 in the cylinder and turn back the edge of the protective cap 17 so that it is established in the slot on the housing 26 of the cylinder.
6. Screw gently piston 18 in the cylinder by means of the hexagon, with the inner edge of the protective cap 17 must stand in the groove on the piston.
7. The housing 26 is screwed into the cylinder 24, the air discharge valve.
8. Install the housing 26 of the cylinder to the caliper 16.
9. Install the new lower bolt 29, holding the guide rod.
10. Set the brake hose on the cylinder body and lock nut tip.
11. Remove the clip from the brake hose.
12. Install the old top bolt 20.
13. Run 18-23 sub-section 10.9.1.
14. Bleed brake system.
