Dismantling, check and assemblage of a primary shaft

Dismantling of a primary shaft spend in the following order:

The shafts and gears Five-speed transmission
Fig. 8.15. The shafts and gears Five-speed transmission: 1 - clutch; 2 - an adjusting washer; 3 - tapered roller bearing (small); 4 - secondary shaft; 5 - tapered roller bearing (large); 6 - washer circular cross-section; 7 - bearing support; 8, 22, 33, 46, 60 - thrust washer; 9 - a gear wheel of 1st transfer; 10 - the needle bearing (38h43h25); 11 - ring of the synchronizer; 12, 14 - spring; 13 - synchronizer; 15, 29 - rusk; 16 - a lock ring of the needle bearing; 18 - ring of the synchronizer; 19 - an external ring of the synchronizer; 20 - an internal ring of the synchronizer; 21 - a gear wheel 2nd transfers; 23 - the needle bearing (30,6h40h26,8); 24 - a gear wheel of 3rd transfer; 25 - Ring of synchronization; 26, 28 - spring; 27 - synchronizer; 30 - the needle bearing; 31 - ring of the synchronizer; 32 - a gear wheel of 4th transfer; 34 - Sleeve (29h46h18,1); 35 - gear 5th gear; 36 - the plug; 37, 54 - a bolt M8h26; 38 - the transmission housing; 39 - Roller Bearing (22h45h16,6); 40 - a primary shaft; 41 - a gear wheel of 1st transfer; 42 - a lock ring; 43 - a gear wheel of 4th transfer; 44 - Roller Bearing (30h68,2h17,2); 45 - the adjusting ring; 47 - the needle bearing (29h40h24); 48 - gear 5th gear; 49 - ring of the synchronizer; 50 - a spring; 51 - a nave of the synchronizer; 52 - sliding sleeve of the synchronizer; 55 - Sleeve (15h21h18); 56 - an intermediate gear; 57 - a lock ring; 58 - a gear wheel of a backing; 59 - a shaft of the reverse gear; 61 - the plug; 62 - the holder of the shaft backing; 63 - the screw longitudinal mounting bracket; 64 - the screw of fastening of the cross

puller to remove the primary shaft 40 (see. Fig. 8.15), the inner ring of the roller bearing;
Remove the puller with a primary shaft thrust washer, bearing and gear 4th gear;
Remove the snap ring groove of the shaft and the gear 3rd gear.
Verification carried out as follows:
thoroughly clean all parts of the primary shaft and check their condition;

Mounting gear 5th gear to the gearbox shafts
Fig. 8.14. Mounting gear 5th gear on the gearbox shaft 1 - a bolt; 2 - spring washer; 3 - a conducted gear wheel of 5th transfer; 4 - a nave of the synchronizer; 5 - ring of the synchronizer; 6 - drive gear 5th gear

Check the gap "a" between the synchronizer ring and gear 5th gear
Fig. 8.16. Check the gap "a" between the synchronizer ring and gear 5th gear

check the condition of the synchronizer ring 5th gear (Fig. 8.14), setting it in the sliding sleeve and pressing toward the gear 5th gear. Blade probe to measure the gap between the inner end of the ring gear and which should be no more than 0.5 mm (Fig. 8.16).
Input shaft assembly sequence is as follows:
when assembling the input shaft, lubricate oil Each setting item;

Installing the gear 3rd gear on the input shaft
Fig. 8.17. Installing the gear 3rd gear on the input shaft

fix the input shaft in a vice with overlays from soft material and, using tubular mandrel, set the gear 3rd gear on the shaft (shoulder on the gear to be sent to a gear wheel of 4th transfer (Fig. 8.17.);
lock the gear 3rd gear retaining ring;
press in shaft with a gear wheel of 4th transfer (shoulder on the gear to be sent to a gear wheel of 4th transfer);

Installation of the bearing on the input shaft
Fig. 8.18. Installation of the bearing on the input shaft

using tubular mandrel, set on the shaft tapered roller bearing (Fig. 8.18);
Install the shaft with thrust washer;

Pressing the sleeve on the primary shaft
Fig. 8.19. Pressing the sleeve on the primary shaft

Install the plug on the input shaft and press it into place with the help of a tubular mandrel (Fig. 8.19);

Install tapered roller bearing to the input shaft by the clutch setting
Fig. 8.20. Install tapered roller bearing to the input shaft by the clutch setting

using a tube, so press them tapered bearing on the input shaft from the clutch housing (Fig. 8.20);
tapered roller bearing outer ring press-fit into the gearbox housing without shims;
Install the input shaft to the crankcase;
Collect the gearbox housing and tighten bolts to torque.
