The gear change mechanism



Disassembly of the gearshift sequence is as follows:

Thoroughly clean and inspect the gear selection mechanism (Fig. 8.37);
check the condition of the hub transmission lever preselect gears and bearing bushes shaft gear selection mechanism;
Unscrew and remove the reversing light switch;
unscrew the nut and remove the bolt lever of the transmission gear selection and pre-selection mechanism gear shaft.
to replace the bushings of the shaft of the mechanism gear selection using a piece of pipe of suitable diameter squeeze out the old sleeve. Replace the old new bushings;
If you need to disassemble the mechanism for moving the gear selector forks, with labels fix the relative position of components before removal;
for removal of the tip shift fork, remove the tapered snap ring on the back of the tip of a fork. When you install a new secure tip retaining ring.

The assembly of the gearshift mechanism (see. Fig. 8.38) is carried out in the following order:

Measure the distance between the tips of the forks of a gear change

Lubricate all parts with oil and check for correct installation tips gearshift forks. Check the distance between the tips installed plugs (Fig. 8.39, 8.40).
