Setting the axial backlash of a secondary shaft
Adjustment of an axial backlash of a secondary shaft in the following order:
| Fig. 8.42. Location of the template and the mounting bracket to check the axial play of the secondary shaft
|
Use special templates with a range of 3 mm and bracket (see. Fig. 8.42); insert into the body of the counter shaft bearing shim thickness of 0.65 mm and tapered roller bearing cup set. In this cup should be tightly pressed against the gasket; setting a secondary shaft, profit and tighten the nut bearing bracket bearing torque 30 Nm; secure the template (see. Fig. 8.42) and set the micrometer readings to zero with preload; moving the secondary shaft, remove the micrometer readings (template during the operation should not move); fold: a) the measured value, b) a constant value = 0.20 mm, c) the value of gasket thickness = 0.65 mm. Based on the requirements pick pad required thickness; dismantling the secondary shaft, set it picked up a pad; Install the outer ring of the bearing; lubricate the shaft with gear oil and setting it in place, tighten the lock nuts to 30 Nm; Check axial play.
