Adjusting the hood



PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Close the hood and check its location relative to adjacent surfaces. Adjust the position of the hood so that when the hood is closed the gap on the perimeter of the hood was the same from all sides. To adjust, loosen the bolts and hinges of the hood by moving the hood, adjust its position. After adjusting tighten the bolts hood hinges. If necessary, adjust the gap by changing the position of the front wings of the car.
2. bonnet hinge bolts tighten to 25 Nm.
3. To adjust the front of the bonnet height felt-tip pen mark the location of the bonnet catch bolts and loosen the bolts. Move the hood latch to the appropriate side of the bracket, adjust the height of the hood installation. Tighten the bonnet catch bolts to 10 Nm.
4. Check that the closed hood rubber buffers support the front of the hood. Otherwise, adjust the height of the installation of rubber buffers, by turning them to the appropriate parties.
5. Check the mounting height of the rubber buffers as follows. Open the hood and on top of the rubber buffers glue pieces of plasticine. Close and re-open the hood. Measure the thickness of the deformed pieces of plasticine. If necessary, remove the rubber buffers to the required distance.
6. Check the fit of the hood to the side rails.
