Adjusting trunk lid / tailgate



Details of the rear door lock

1 - sleeve with left-hand thread,
2 - spacer,
3 - Tift notched,
4 - projections
5 - recess for the projection,
6 - bolt,
7 - the screw,
8 - a rubber buffer

Adjusting the buffer back door

1 - sleeve with left-hand thread,
2 - rib pads,
9 - estigranny key 3 mm

The gap a = 3 mm.

7 - the screw

The trunk lid / tailgate should be set so that closed the gap around the perimeter of the trunk lid / tailgate has been the same throughout. Also, when you close the boot lid / tailgate should be at par with the other parts of the body.
A warning

Adjusting the position of the tailgate / rear door must be carried out on the car standing on wheels.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Using a screwdriver blade, remove the pin with the notch and remove the buffer with a lid.
2. Remove the rubber buffer, then using trehmillimetrovy hex wrench, tighten the screw fastening until it stops and adjust the threaded sleeve so as to provide a gap of 3 mm as shown in Fig. Adjust the buffer back door.
3. Rib pads should come in contact with the threaded sleeve.
4. Replace the rubber buffer.
5. Remove the latch and set it so that the protrusions (4) includes a recess (5) latches, see. Fig. Installation projections valve. The distance between the housing and the base of the buffer rubber buffer should be 10 mm.
6. Gently close the rear door and open it again, after which the torque of 1 Nm then tighten the screw all the way, see. Fig. Final adjustment of the buffer back door).
