Maintenance of the ignition distributor
Distributor Cap should be cleaned at regular intervals inside and outside to remove the remnants of coal dust and moisture. In this clear and distributor rotor. For cleaning use a cloth soaked in gasoline. At the same time check the distributor cap for cracks. The distributor rotor should be replaced if worn contacts (installed rotor with the designation R1). Brass contacts can not be in any case file or grind grind. The outer surfaces of high voltage cables must be kept clean and free of oil and moisture to ensure reliable conduction of electricity in the ignition system. Periodically remove all wires from the distributor of ignition, clean and monitor the end of the connection. The wires can not be cut to remove the substandard ends, they must always be replaced. The new wire must be purchased only in accordance with the number of spare parts for the respective motor. If the engine does not work reliably, and it is assumed that the cause is a malfunction of the ignition system, it is possible that the cause is a defect in the sensor Hall. In many cases, this is due to supply voltage that can be checked with a voltmeter. To do this, follow these steps: - Connect a voltmeter to the power supply in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Ignition must be turned off; - Removed from the connector located on the side of a major distributor of ignition plug; - Switch on the ignition;

- Connect a voltmeter to test terminals shown in Fig. 130 pins connector and define voltage reading. It should not be less than 9 V. Otherwise distributor to repair or replace it.
