The injection system design Magnetti-Marelli 1 AV (1996)

As mentioned above, this system can not perform any work.

The layout of the details of the injection Magnetti-Marelli 1 AV
Fig. 124. The arrangement of parts of the injection Magnetti-Marelli 1 AV: 1 - the fuel tank; 2 - the fuel pump; 3 - the fuel filter; 4 - the ignition coil; 5 - lambda sensor; 6 - the gauge of frequency of rotation of the engine; 7 - knock sensor; 8 - a spark plug; 9 - injection valve; 10 - sensor monitoring the temperature of the coolant; 11 - absorber; 12 - the fuel distributor (ramp); 13 - a pressure regulator; 14 - Multi-engine; 15 - the case of the throttle valve; 16 - Intake Air Temperature Sensor; 17 - the gauge of speed of movement; 18 - potentiometer throttle position; 19 - a pressure sensor in the intake manifold; 20 - the electromagnetic switch for the absorber; 21 - heater throttle body; 22 - electronic control fuel injection and ignition; 23 - a control lamp; 24 - double injection relay (control unit / pump); 25 - pin self-diagnosis; 26 - the ignition switch; 27 - battery

Fig. 124 shows the injection system. The electronic control unit controls the changing composition of the fuel mixture and ignition.
The amount of fuel injected depends on the duration of the opening of the nozzle (transitional phase, interruption injection), which in turn is determined by the following parameters:
- Atmospheric pressure;
- Battery voltage;
- Fluctuations in the density of air (sensor intake air temperature);
- Information provided by the lambda sensor.
The electronic control unit regulates the following functions:
- Based on an analysis of data received from the knock sensor, change the composition of the fuel mixture and ignition timing to prevent a significant temperature rise in the catalyst;
- Returns are in the absorber vapor into the intake system;
- The ignition timing and the supply of additional air when the installed in car air conditioning systems;
- The work of a warning light signaling system diagnostics;
- Protection against exceeding the maximum engine speed when self-ignition of the mixture;
- Work tachometer;
- Disabling injection (again including) at a speed of about 1400 min-1;
- Adjustment of the servo motor idle mode start-up and idling.
Mounted on the flywheel housing of the engine speed sensor and the TDC has already been mentioned. Another probe is used to determine the pressure in the engine. During the ignition is switched on and the starter until the sensor detects atmospheric pressure. This means that the sensor during operation of the engine can inform the electronic control unit information on the difference between the atmospheric pressure and the pressure in the intake manifold. On the sensor voltage is 5 V, and its output is formed by the secondary voltage proportional to the pressure.
The information is used to determine the position of idling (accelerator pedal released) and the position of the maximum fuel feed (the pedal must be depressed all the way). In this manner it is managed acceleration, braking and disconnecting injection.
Idling is regulated by a servo motor idling. It is within the throttle body and regulates the flow of air by passing the intake air through a valve, thereby realizing supply additional air when the engine is cold. Idle speed is controlled according to the engine load and the coolant temperature.
The coolant temperature sensor is located in the cooling system, and the intake air temperature sensor - in the air intake duct.
