The system EVAP
When temperature changes during operation of a vehicle fuel tank fuel vapor is formed, which during normal operation of the vehicle into the atmosphere through a ventilation system. To avoid these emissions, cars began to equip the fuel vapor recovery system. When the engine is running or stopped as a result of heating fuel gasoline vapor flows through the hose connection to the absorber. Its location is shown in Fig. 110.
| Fig. 110. The main elements of system of injection Mono-Motronic in the engine compartment: 1 - switching valve to the absorber; 2 - knock sensor (only ADX, AEA); 3 - injector; 4 - temperature controller for heating the intake air; 5 - control system Mono-Motronic; 6 - servomotor angle move the throttle to idle switch; 7 - electric socket; 8 - the fuel pressure regulator; 9 - injector with the intake air temperature sensor; 10 - potentiometer throttle position; 11 - the ignition coil; 12 - the ignition distributor; 13 - pin connector with four pins; 14 - central electrical connector; 15 - coolant temperature sensor; 16 - the connection with "weight"; 17 - a spark plug 25 Nm; 18 - air filter; 19 - absorber

During the movement of the external air sucked engine is directed into the absorber. Air captures fuel vapor held charcoal, and returns them through the exhaust ventilation passage for combustion in the engine. The ventilation duct installed solenoid valve, which regulates the amount of the withdrawn mixture. The cross section of the valve opening is determined by a control system depending on the rotational speed, load, lambda sensor information. At full load, the valve, for example, fully open and idling completely closed.

Places hose connections: A - to the engine; B - to the tank; 1 - an electrical connector; 2 - switching solenoid valve; 3 - the holder, on the right hand shock absorber; 4 - thrust ring; 5 - a washer; 6 - injector; 7 - pipe air supply (from the valve on the tank); 8 - absorber (in the wheel arches)

In Fig. 119 presents detailed information on the system. In the case of having to remove any parts necessary to ensure that the hoses are connected as it should be: A - to the engine in - to the fuel tank.
