Check the details of the crankshaft
Check the details of the crankshaft in the following order: - Inspect the crankshaft. Cracks anywhere crankshaft are not allowed. On the surfaces of mating with the sealing lip are not allowed scratches, nicks and risks; - Make accurate measurements of the necks of the main and connecting rod bearings. When repairing pereshlifovyvat can be up to three times with decreasing diameter. After that set repair inserts increased thickness;

- Hold the crankshaft between the holders of a lathe, or set the extreme radical neck on two prisms (fig. 138) and check indicator runout on average radical neck support. Run-out shall not exceed 0.06 mm, otherwise it is necessary to replace the shaft; - The measurement gaps in the main and connecting rod bearings with plastic wire segment from the set ?Plastigage?, held in the same way as for the motor VR6 (see. P. 2.6.2); - If there is no plastic wire Plastigage, beating the main and connecting rod bearings can be measured by the following method: - Set the bearing caps with the nested liners in the cylinder block and tighten the bolts to 65 Nm. Inserts should be installed in their original places; - If the measured beat of the connecting rod bearing, insert liners rods and covers of rods and tighten the nuts to cover the old 30 Nm;

- Measure the diameter of the set of bearings by means of the measuring device (Fig. 139). Pay careful attention to the direction of measurement of A and B, as well as the measurement site 1 and 2. Thus, it can detect a violation of circularity (A and B), and the taper (1 and 2). Record the measurement results of each of the bearing;

- Measure the diameter of bearing journals with a micrometer. In this note to the field measurements (Fig. 140, shown by arrows). Record the measurement results of each neck bearings; - The beating of main and connecting rod bearings and the difference between the measurement of the internal diameter of the bearing bore and the diameter of the bearing.
Note In order to check the beating of the connecting rod bearings, a cranked shaft and measure the following two crankpins, as described above. |
