Checking voltage



PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the fuse of the fuel pump 18. Faulty fuse replaced.
2. Turn off the ignition, the fuel pump has to work a short time. When the surrounding noise, to check on a rumor needs assistant near the fuel pump.
3. If the pump does not work, connect the remote control.
4. Press the remote control switch. If the pump is now beginning work, check the fuel pump relay.
5. If the fuel pump does not start, you need to cut the carpet on the right side of the perforation of the handbrake lever.
6. Unscrew fence fuel level sensor (sensor in the fuel tank) and the fuel pump.
7. Disconnect plug connection of the sensor and the fuel injection pump, a small screwdriver by lifting the side locking tabs.
8. Connect the LED or a voltmeter to the two outer contact of the plug.
9. Press the remote control switch. The meter should show the battery voltage of about 12 V, otherwise look for wiring and eliminate breakage.
10. If the battery voltage is displayed, remove the fuel gauge.
11. Check for good contact and reliable electrical connection between the flange and fuel pump. Check ohmmeter additional wires and wiring from the sensor housing to the fuel pump, if necessary, repair the open.
12. If there is no continuity, replace the fuel pump.
13. Install the fuel gauge, connect the wiring.
