Removing and installing radiator



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Fold the radiator. To do this, unscrew the screws (1) on the right and the left.
2. Tilt the front radiator with the support lock (arrow).
3. Pull the plug from the sensor. The temperature sensor is located on the right of the radiator at medium altitude.
4-cylinder diesel engine and five-cylinder petrol and diesel engines
4. Disconnect the connectors on both the fan motors.
4-cylinder petrol engine
5. Pull the plug from the fan motor.
6. Remove the bottom mudguard of a motor compartment.
7. Drain and collect the coolant.
8. Remove the upper and lower radiator hoses, clamps loosened previously.
9. Drive out the pins of the spacer clip (arrows) on the right and the left. Remove the spacer clips of the radiator bracket.
10. Remove the radiator with a fan.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Replace worn gum attachment, rubber washers, clips and pins.
2. Install the radiator with a fan in front.
3. Insert the spacer clip and attach pins.
4. Attach and secure the clamps lower and upper radiator hoses.
5. Connect the wiring to the temperature sensor and the radiator fan.
6. Fill up with coolant.

A warning

If you have replaced the radiator, water pump or cylinder head, you must replace the coolant.


7. After the pilot run to check the tightness of all hose connections of the radiator.
