Storage Battery

Batteries that are not used for a long time (for example, when setting the machine for conservation), self-discharge and can thus sulfated. If these batteries are charged bystrozaryadnym device, they do not take the charge current, or will be in the so-called surface charge quickly "completely" charged. They have failed.

Before you recognize malfunctions should:

- Check the density of the electrolyte. If the density of the electrolyte in all banks differ by no more than 0.02 g / ml, the battery can be charged in the usual charger;
- Check the battery after charging to the load. If the values are not met, it is faulty:
- If the density of the electrolyte in the one or two adjacent banks are very different (e.g., 5 cans show 1.16 g / ml, and one of 1.08 g / ml), the battery has a short circuit and malfunction.

To prevent the aging batteries stored recharge the battery every 3 months.
