In carrying out these checks, measure the thickness of the lining of the front and rear brake pads (Fig. 2.75 and 2.76) and compare it to the acceptable standards that the front and rear pads is 2 mm.
If the thickness of the brake linings is close to the specified value, replace the pads.
You should also make sure there are no leaks in the caliper or its compounds.
When replacing brake pads, check the thickness of the brake discs, which should not be less than the minimum value (for the front discs is 21.5 mm for the rear - 8.4 mm).
