Check the transmission fluid pressure (F4A42)

Check the transmission fluid pressure is performed in order to determine the condition of hydraulic components and whether there are leaks.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Start up the engine before warming up of a transmission to temperature 80-100 ? C.
  2. Lift the front side of the car so that the drive wheels can rotate freely.
  1. Connect a pressure gauge with a special adapter for each nipple pressure test.
  1. Measure the pressure of the transmission fluid at various positions of the gear lever and the speed of the crankshaft of the engine in the table.
  1. If the pressure does not correspond to the desired value, check and repair the transmission elements.
