Install cam lock

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Manually move the locking cam in the direction of ?A?.
  1. Make sure the locking cam is aligned at ?B? with a pin lock.

Adjustment of cables of displacement and locking

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check that each cam lock is in the position shown in the figure.
  1. In this position, set the wire and move the cable locking wedge. In this case, the lock cable must be connected with the brake pedal in the initial position of the pedal.
  1. Temporarily connect each cable to the lever on the automatic transmission, as shown in the figure. Firmly insert the cable into the pin set each cam.
  1. Slightly moving the cable lock in the direction of ?E?, eliminate cable slack and provide a gap of 2-4 mm.

If the gap is not equal to 2-4 mm, for operation of the lock button on the selector lever the brake pedal must be depressed far more than is necessary.

  1. After the test, make sure the tip of the lock pin cable regard to the P-shaped locking cam, then move the tip of a cable lock with a washer and lock pin.
  2. Gently press the locking cam in the direction of ?Q?.
  3. After the action ?f? pull the rope a little lock in the direction of ?G? to remove slack and secure it with a nut.
  1. Be sure to check if the cable is inserted in the lock of the locking cam locking pin, and then install the washer and locking pin. At the same time, check whether the combined P-shaped closing movement of the cam with a rope as shown in the figure.

Verifying the installation of cable movement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. If you do not brake pedal is pressed, the button on the selector lever in position ?P? will not work (you can not move the selector lever out of position ?P? to another position). The button on the selector lever can be used in other positions, except for ?P?.
  2. If the brake pedal is 15-25 mm (with selector lever in position ?P?), the button must work without gripping and can move the selector lever out of position ?P?.
  3. If the brake pedal is pressed, the selector lever can smoothly move to position ?P? of the other provisions.
  4. The brake pedal should operate smoothly without seizure in all positions.
  5. After turning the key in the ignition switch to ?LOCK? button should work even if the brake pedal is pressed.
  6. The key is in the ignition switch can not be turned to position ?LOCK?, if the selector lever is not set to ?P?.
  7. If the selector lever is in position ?P?, the ignition key must be turned to position ?LOCK?.

Safety measures

  1. Slightly moving the cable lock in the direction of ?E?, provide a gap of 2-4 mm between the cam locks and P-shaped closing cam, and then tighten the cable nut. Then make sure that the gap is in the range of 2-4 mm.

If the gap is not equal to 2-4 mm, for operation of the lock button on the selector lever the brake pedal must be depressed far more than is necessary.

  1. Make sure any slack in the cable lock.

If the slack cable locks are not removed, it will be impossible to remove the key from the ignition lock cylinder and the selector lever can not be moved out of position ?P? in other positions, despite the fact that the ignition key is in position ?LOCK?.

  1. After completing the work, check that the locking cam and P-shaped closing the cam is in the position shown.

If the locking cam and the P-type closing cam are in the positions shown in Figures 5 and 6, movement of the selector lever of the positions D, 3, 2, L at position P, R, N c by applying a higher force may result in damage to the interacting elements. If the cams are in the position shown in Figure 5, move the selector lever from position D, 3, 2, L in position P, R, N after the turn of the P-shaped locking cam in the direction of ?A?.

If the cams are in the position shown in Figure 6, move the selector lever from position D, 3, 2, L in position P, R, N after the turn of the P-shaped locking cam in the direction of ?A?, while pressing the brake pedal.
