Removing and installing transmission F4A42



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect in the first place, the wire from the negative terminal of the battery, and then - on the positive. Remove the battery and battery support.
  1. Remove the drain plug and drain into a suitable container gear oil from the gearbox.
  1. Remove the air filter.
  2. Disconnect the connector from the speedometer.
  1. Disconnect the connector from the transmission range switch, solenoid connector and the connector from the oil temperature sensor.
  1. Disconnect the hose from the oil cooler.
  1. Remove the control cable.
  1. Remove the universal joint shaft of the steering column of the steering gear.

Mark the position of the universal joint shaft of the steering column and the steering gear shaft.

  1. Disconnect the hose from the power steering pump.
  1. Disconnect the return hose from the oil pump power steering.
  1. Remove the upper bolts gearbox.
  1. Special adaptation J28467-B, J28467-125 support the engine so that the engine weight was perceived device.
  1. Remove the front wheels and brake calipers front.
  1. Disconnect from the knuckle ball rod end.
  1. Remove the speed sensor and remove the screws A-pillar to the steering knuckle.
  1. Remove the transmission bracket.
    1. Remove the bolt support.

b. Remove (upper) bolt from the body.

c. Remove the (side) bolt from the body.

d. Remove the side of the mounting bolt gearbox.

  1. Remove the front roll stopper.
    1. Remove the bolt support.

b. Remove (upper) bolt retainer.

c. Remove the (lower) fastening bolt retainer.

  1. Remove the rear roll stopper.
    1. Remove the bolt support.

b. Remove the bolt retainer.

  1. Remove the drive shaft.
  1. Remove the screws and remove the lower frame.
  1. Support gearbox jack.
  1. Remove the lower bolts gearbox.
  1. Remove the bolts the gearbox to the engine.
  2. Remove the transmission from the car.

  1. Supports the engine and transmission to be installed in its place without tension.
  2. The sequence of installation brackets.
    1) Bracket engine mounting.
    2) Upper bracket gearbox.
    3) Mount the rear support.
    4) the front support bracket.
  3. When installing the front support bracket being careful not to damage the bearing, which can lead to excessive vibration.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Replace the front part of the transmission torque converter and set the transmission to the engine.

If the converter is first set to the motor when setting the gearbox may be damaged O-ring transmission.

  1. Install the transmission control cable and adjust as follows.
    1. Move the selector lever and the transmission range switch in position N and install the control cable transmission.
    2. When connecting the control cable mounting bracket to the transmission, select the clip so that it came into contact with the cable management.
    3. Adjusting nut, select any free wheeling in the control cable and check that the selector lever moves smoothly.
    4. Check that the control cable is properly adjusted.
  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
