Removal and installation of the front shock absorbers



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Loosen the wheel nuts, Poddomkratte car and establish it on props. Cock a lay brake and remove the wheel.
  2. Give Gaku upper shaft damper. To hold the stem from turning, use spanner. If the nut "become attached" pre-soak it penetrating oil. Perhaps for holding the stock would have to use self-locking pliers, as for a conventional wrench flats on it are quite small.
  1. When the shock absorber rod nut Give (arrow) to hold the rod against rotation should use spanner or self-locking pliers.
  1. Give bolts and nuts lower strut, and then remove the last wheel through an arch. Remove the top of the shock absorber rubber washers and grommets.
  1. The lower end of the shock absorber is fixed to the crankcase of the front axle by means of two bolts (arrows) with bolts (not visible in the picture).

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Maximum drag the new shock absorber. Set on its stem a new washer and the new rubber grommet, then fill in the shock absorber upper support.
  2. Place the upper rubber grommet hockey and tug the rod up and down to ensure proper alignment bushings in the support. Tighten the piston rod nut.
  3. Install the nuts and bolts of the lower support and tighten them.
