Coolant temperature

A warning

The coolant temperature sensor is located adjacent to the thermostat.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Unplug the connector from the coolant temperature sensor.

2. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Place the probe in a container of water with thermometer, and gradually heating the water, measure sensor resistance at various temperatures.

2. If the sensor resistance differs from demanded values, replace it.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Install the coolant temperature sensor with a new seal. Torque: 25-29 N ??? m
2. Connect the sensor connector.
3. Start up the engine and check for leaks from the cooling system.
