Testing the air conditioning system located in the vehicle

The electric motor of the basic fan

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect from the electric motor of the basic fan.
2. Check for proper operation of the main motor of the fan when it is applied to the power supply (red contact: black contact: -).
3. In the event of a fault, replace the motor.

Resistor

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unplug the connector from the resistor.
2. Check the integrity of the chain and measure the resistance between the contacts.
3. Replace the resistor, if it is blown.

A warning

Do not use resistor again if the fuse blows.

Thermistor

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the continuity between the terminals.
2. If any of continuity, replace thermistor.
3. Check the resistance between the contacts of the following values:

Temperature (? C)
Resistance (ohm)

Evaporator

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the outer surface of the core for cracks or deformation.
2. When the deformation of the core edges to straighten it.
3. Check if the tube thermistor.

A warning

Check O-ring for cracks and put on a cooling oil when in an input / output connected to the evaporator tube or hose pipe. When replacing the core of the new evaporator through an inlet pipe inserted inside it about 50 cm 3 of cooling oil.
